Scholarships
Students interested in scholarships to study in Thailand should first contact the Australian Endeavour Awards student/staff exchange. Scholarships are offered by Thai universities normally through agreements between Thai and Australian universities.

Estimated budget per month for living in Bangkok like a local student is around 10,000 – 20, 000 baht. This would cover accommodation, heating, lighting, food, clothing, books and daily travel for one person.
Living costs will be 30-50% cheaper if living in the provinces outside Bangkok

There are many kinds of accommodation for rental in Thailand ranging from campus dormitory, private apartment, serviced apartment, condominium, and houses. Home stay is not common in Thailand.
Foreign students are recommended to contact their host institution to arrange temporary accommodation before their arrival.

Health care and insurance
Medical treatment is adequate throughout Thailand, and is quite good in Bangkok, where excellent facilities exist for routine, long-term and emergency health care.
Students should take out full insurance cover for medical treatment and accidents, including medical evacuation to their home country.
