In April 2009 the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations released two reports on the current trends and practices in outbound mobility in Australia. These reports are below.

In 2008 the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations participated in the VET Outbound Mobility Pilot Program, the aim of this program was to encourage greater awareness of the opportunities available in the VET sector for outbound mobility and increase participation in student mobility in the VET sector.
