Scholarships
The Australian Government is committed to providing educational and professional opportunities for citizens and permanent residents of Australia to undertake study, research or professional development abroad.
In addition to the Endeavour Awards , the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) provides a financial contribution towards a number of other scholarships which enable Australians to study overseas. These include The Fullbright Scholarships and the German Government’s Goethe Institut language programs for teachers and students of German.
The information below also includes links to scholarships sponsored by foreign governments and other international organisations.
The Joint Academic Scholarship Online Network (JASON) is a search engine that contains information about postgraduate scholarships. The scholarships in the database apply to Australian students wishing to study both at home and abroad, and to international students wishing to study in Australia.
